Ana Maria Duque in art: AMAR DUQUE

Hi! I’m Amar

An ancient soul, a symbolic hand, a ritual voice.
I create sacred images where the invisible becomes visible.

My art is memory awakened, color as ceremony, symbol as threshold.
I paint what is felt, I draw what the soul remembers.
Every line is a portal. Every gesture, a prayer.

✧ Identity & Signature

Spiritual Name: Amar
Essence: Soul Illustrator, Ritual Artist, Story Weaver
Mission: To awaken inner worlds and spiritual memory through sacred visual language
Style: Vibrant, symbolic, intuitive, archetypal, alchemical

✧ A Path Between Worlds

My creative soul stands at the meeting point of two worlds.

I was born in Colombia, where magic is woven into everyday life — where myths breathe in the mountains, the rain, the spirits of the ancestors.
The poetic vision of magical realism taught me that reality is always symbolic, and that beauty and mystery walk hand in hand.

I now live in Italy, a land of ancient temples, refined aesthetics, and sacred art.
Italy gifted me a sense of form, beauty, ritual depth, and the spiritual geometry of expression.

And I was born under a Waning Moon —
a lunar phase of subtle magic, soul remembrance, and gentle release.
Its light taught me to look inward, to honor endings, and to find beauty in the unseen.

In my work, these forces merge:
the intuitive fire of Latin America
the sacred geometry of European mystery traditions
and the wisdom of the waning moon, my birth light.

Together, they form a living language of soul, vision, and transformation.

✧ My Passions & Inspirations

My creative path is nourished by:
– The history of costume — sacred garments, archetypal silhouettes, ancestral elegance
– Astrology — the celestial map as a mirror for inner transformation
– Crystals — living frequencies that guide, protect, and amplify soul work
– Elemental Beings — guardians of nature, portals between dimensions
– Spiritual research — an ongoing quest through ancient wisdom, inner alchemy, and personal ritual

My art is woven from intuition, symbol, and spiritual inquiry.
Each element whispers through my hands.
They are stories waiting to be seen — and I am their weaver.

✧ Statement of Intent

I create to awaken.
I draw to reconnect.
My lines are thresholds, my colors are spells.

Amar is the altar where art and spirit become one.
