Timeless Muses

Faces from another time, bearers of mystery and memory, speaking of what remains eternal.

A series of feminine portraits inspired by women from other times. Each muse embodies an era, an energy, a collective memory renewed through color and symbol. In these works, time dissolves: flowers, gestures, and hairstyles become universal languages — bridges between the ancient and the contemporary.

“Timeless Muses” celebrates beauty as a living legacy and the feminine soul as a constant presence that travels through history — forever reinventing, forever blooming.

Cleo de Mérode
A triptych dedicated to French dancer Cleo de Mérode (1875–1966), icon of the Belle Époque and one of the first women to master her own public image. In these portraits, her face becomes a symbol of elegance and mystery — beauty suspended between innocence and desire. She represents the muse aware of being seen, yet also looking back at herself.

Louise Brooks
Portraits inspired by the silent film actress who embodied the revolution of the 1920s. Her dark bob and direct gaze become emblems of autonomy and defiance. Louise Brooks appears here as a muse of transformation — free, modern, timeless.

The Three Marías
A trilogy of circular portraits portraying the same woman in three stages of her existence. Inspired by the symbolic figure of “the Three Marys,” these works reinterpret the myth as an inner mirror: a single feminine essence transforming and multiplying through different expressions of love and awareness. Each one is accompanied by a distinct flower — orchids, carnations, and roses — symbols of purity, tenderness, and passion. Together they form a cycle of inner evolution where the soul remembers itself through time.

Roses and Studs
A female figure framed by a climbing rose bush, holding a rose between her lips. She embodies the union of desire and restraint, beauty and wound — the voice of passion that speaks in silence, a visual echo of tango and timeless longing.
